Hi all... i trained with a lady from nottingham called Sue in march on tinting and lashes... i trained with the cluster ( Y ) lashes....
I have since done a few sets... i have glued lower eyelids to upper eyelids...twice!! and the lashes just wernt staying on for longer than a few days... this was using salon system lashes and glue...

I decided to buy the(single) marvel lashes, glue and tweezers.... having since found out from someon else who does lashes that you use 2 sets tweezers... which i have been doing since but cant get the hang of them... pinching the eyelid!!

I have done 2 sets of m arvel lash... both sets fell out with in an
hour of me doing them??? help...what am i doing wrong??
I have looked at other peoples posts on lashes and people have said about using primer beforehand???
What products are best to use...where to purchase them from??
any tips... advice...suggestions will be taken on board and i will really appreciate it!!

Many thanks,Emma

Hi

You would be better off doing a semi permanent eyelash extension course - the course you have done is only cluster lashes. They are entirely different in application and there is far more skill and expretise needed for single or semi permanent lash extensions.

Your sp training will show you the correct way to use your tweezers in a way that you won't harm your client.

I agree I also did the ss course that did the cluster and also the marvel lash course and they are 2 completley different techniques. It takes time to master the x tweezers. Semi perms are all about practice. Marvel lash do not use a primer or finishing glaze also the glue is not fantastic.

As i said I did the training and got the full kit and found I had clients saying lashes where only lasting a week or so. I have now changed my lash supplier and re-trained also. I am now confident with the product im using and know that they will last for my clients.

Hope this helps
xx

The therapist in my salon done the marvel course a few weeks ago and she done a set on a client last Thursday the client phoned to say by Saturday they were ALL out she doesn't know what she is doing wrong she has got an other set in on Saturday and she is worried sick about it do you think it could be the glue ?
