New nail tech needs advice please

Hi all,

I am currently training in nail tech and will be setting myself up from home / mobile rather than from a salon. So starting out I need to buy polish and gel polish but I have no idea where to start brand wise! There are so many to choose from...

Would you suggest using the same brand for both polish and gel ??

I was hoping I could get a few reccomendatiobs of brands a lot of people like, so I can get some testers and pick the ones that fit me best.

There are so many brands out there - it's just trial and error. What works for someone else may not work for you and vice versa.
A lot of nail techs work with more than just one brand. There is no rule that says you have to use polish and gel polish from the same brand.
I would suggest you watch some YouTube videos for different brands, find ones that appeal to you the most, than research them - are they professional, accessible easily enough, fits you financialy, etc.
Ones that might be easily accessible in your area:
Canadian brand called Swan nails - a lot of nail techs seems to like it.
American La Palm Gel II - I am currently very interested in this one.
