Hi, this is my first post on here so please bear with me! Please can someone explain what dry brushing is with soak off gels and how it works. Also, on doing a set of gels today, one hand came out dull after the finishing wipe? I applied bonding prep, base, two coats of colour then top, wiped over using a clean wipe for each nail and on one hand only it went dull! My bulbs are less than one month old with only about 12 uses, so not sure why. My biggest issue is removing - I buff, soak etc and the polish only just starts to lift at the very edges taking sometimes up to an hour to remove. Getting a bit disheartened and needing some encouragement

Which brand do you use Hun? Xxx

Also welcome to salon geek!

Thank you!! I'm using Icon UV Polish and I have some ASP Soak off Gels as well that I bought when I first started but not so sure about them.

Dry brushing is where you use a dry gel brush to remove excess inhibition layer.
If the too coat comes up dull its often residue from the remover, try wiping the nail with a dry wipe after and see if that cleans them.

This should've all been covered in training :p x

Thank you for that - I'll give that a try if it happens again! Yes, discovering lots of little issues that weren't covered in training  xx
