No more clients dialogue

I know this seems backwards but hear me out. I have been thinking of putting my hairdresser status as "not accepting new clients" in the hopes that, since I recently opened up my own salon I have 2 girls that are newer and need to build their books. I would rather any referrals go to them so they can build. Is there any advice on good dialogue to go about this and gently let my current clients know that referrals should be to salon in general and not solely me? Thank you.

I wouldn't put a sign up. If someone walks in or calls ask if they are a new client then book them in alternate with the other stylists.
