I am currently practising acrylic nails after completing my course.

Everytime I seem to pick up a bead of acrylic it seems to fall into the powder and doesn't stick to my brush, does this mean my brush is to wet? Or am I not holding my brush in the acrylic long enough?

I'm wasting a lot of acrylic powder because this is happening a lot :( can anyone help me please?

Yes your brush is too wet and or the ball is balancing on the tip instead of lower down the flag.
Also you might be taking too long to pick up, don't worry we all have gone through a lot of problems when we first started .
It just takes practice but sounds like too wet .

Thank you for your help :) I will keep practising and may be try drying my brush a little more

It does take some practice, and then just when you think you've cracked it something else happens. Have you looked at the nail angel video? That might help a bit http://nailangel.co.uk/
