ok what i want to know is why nss nails are so strong and never break i have had a couple of clients come for infills and i have to say the nails they do people that dont talk english shall i say look fab.I wish my clients nails looked like that after 3 weeks and they never seem to break no lifting infact look perfect. We can say to are clients yes they use mma and drills and blah blah but at the end of the day when someone pays to have the nails done they want them to look good and last surely they will go for that rather than come to a tech that cares what she is putting on her clients nails.3 weeks ago i had a client come for infills and she had her nails done in australia by 2 techs one doing tips the other overlay and not a word of english.3 weeks later came to me looked great a bit long so i started to take the length down and i could'nt make out where this horribe smell was coming from i have 2 hamsters on top of my fridge and thought it was them it smelt like hamster piddle it was when i got to the sixth nail i relized it was the nails.mma i take it so why are they so strong and perfect and can do them in 40 mins while mine arnt perfect and take 2 hours they break sometimes lift and dont look perfect after 2 weeks let alone 3.:?:

I know what your saying ay..i have seen some fab nails from NSS and using MMA....but...should a clients wearing these nails have a accident and catch one...there is a very high risk that its not just the enhancement that will come off...also its the state of the nails underneath these enhancements...the clients are totally unaware as they keep going for infill's and don't know the damage thats being done....i have soaked a few sets off now and i could sit and cry at the state of those nails. I would like to see a set of those nails after a day even without the nail being etched to within a inch of its life first...they have to do this to get the MMA to grip with the force that it does...with out the etching (mainly with a drill) these MMA nails wouldn't last the week. It all boils down to caring for the natural nail as well as producing great enhancements...they have no interest for the natural nail at all...and thats the BIG difference. Thats the way i see it anyway...lol xx

It is the MMA in the products these nails techs use create thick hard as bricks nails!

Whilst a client may see this a benefit in that they dont need infills so often, when the product is soaked or filed off or blasted off with nuclear weapons the damage will be evident!

Hi Kay
i see what your saying about them being stronger and lasting longer but why would you really put yourself and your health at risk just for the sake of having your nails on for longer? and i bet you'd want the person to be able to talk English so you at least know what the hell they are doing to your nails!!!
I really dont care why they last longer i'd rather pay YOU for doing a really good job thats safe for me, everyone gets lifting after a couple of weeks and that ensures clients attend a rebalancing to keep their nails healthy and looking great!!!

have a search on MMA and you will see why they last so long... they rarely lift because the nailplate has to be shredded so the product can bond with the keratin. it's ok for clients to say how strong the nss nails are BUT if they caught one and it ripped off their natural nail they wouldn't be whooping it up about them.
there are loads of threads about nss and mma, the article written by Sam explains it clearly :wink2:

thanx for all your replys i soaked of my last clients nails after i had done 1 infill on her theone from australia she had little red sort of splinters all over her natural nails from drils and wot ever was put on her nails i expect would this smell i described as hamster piddle be mma then
