Looking for a bridal foundation that is
1. Long Lasting
2. Mattifying (for oily skin)
3. Without SPF?

Have trawled the site already and seen people recommending Double Wear Light but not sure if it is mattifying? I finish with a translucent finishing powder but would really like to find a foundation that steers well clear of a "dewy" finish.

Another name that has come up is Art Deco HD? Would that fit the category?

Have a look at Laura Mercia oil free. I'm loving it at the moment!

don't know about Art Deco but I think double wear light has spf

I use mac studio tech it's oil free xx

Is there a particular moisturiser that you would recommend underneath?

Thanks so much for your posts ladies, off to Selfridges today!

i use clarins ever matte its amazing stays put no oilyness at the end of the day! only thing it has and spf in hope that helps

I use dermalogica active moist this is also oil free and also no spf x

Hello, MAC professionals recommend MAC Pro Wear for oily/very oily skins. It also photographs beautifully so is great for Bridal work.

I asked them this very question myself as I am stocking up my fab new Bridal makeup out and only want the creme de la creme of products!

Perhaps also use a good primer, such as Laura Mercier, as a base to make extra sure you have the best long lasting coverage possible, especially for a wedding day.

Best wishes xx
