Hiya,
I have an interview for the role of an apprentice hairdresser at saks on Tues..
I know I am thinking ahead and dont even know what the outcome is yet but.. I have 3 children (2 biological, 1 step- Not that it makes a difference!) and if I get the placement I'm wondering if there is any additional help as my daughter currently only has pre-school 5 mornings a week from 8:50-11:50
I'm thinking I would have to book her in to childcare a couple of days a week to fit around when my bf can have her but not sure how much this costs, And as an apprentice I'll only be on £2.50 per hour so not sure if I can afford it?
I've heard of child care vouchers from the government but dont know if your entitled to any help if its an apprenticeship that is in-salon.
Also I'm not too well off at the moment hence why I am really trying to get back into work and couldnt imagine any other career other than hairdressing, I've heard that the prince's trust can help with funding to start you off in work, Ie) travel ect.. But again I'm unsure if this is applicable when it's an in-salon apprenticeship.
Any tips will be appreciated
Thanks!
Xx
