Hi i want to educate my self to become a nail technician i was thinking online courses sinces it seems to be cheaper and since i have an infant and a toddler right now i dont have much extra time but i dont want my babies to be an excuse to hold me back, any recommendations on a inexpensive school? And also recommends on which would be best for my future either online or regular school. Thank you

Reading theory is all very well and good but it's the practical, real life application that you need to know. Even using tool such as training hands and fingers wont prepare you for real life Clients.

You wouldn't watch a few youtube videos on car driving and think you could be let loose on the road! It's just my opinion but I think you would be better saving your money and investing in a decent, hands on, course.

Definitely don't train in an actual treatment online or through distance learning. The lack of feedback from a tutor is going to leave you stuck and uncertain.

A lot of colleges offer evening courses in nails that lead to a recognised qualification. I would definitely recommend this. Also google for private training providers that offer recognised and insurable qualifications awarded by vtct/itec/city and guilds.

I'm immensely in favour of online/distance learning but not for treatments.

Sorry what's a private training provider?

A private training provider is a company that can get you through your qualifications that is not a state funded college.
