Hi geeks. Only just found this thread and started reading the first couple of pages where iv noticed a few of you mentioned tinting the skin where there is less hair or gaps etc. I'm not HD trained but I was taught at college not to get any tint on the skin and only tint the actual eyebrow by lifting up the hairs as you go along. So am I right in thinking its ok to tint the skin? X

I always put tint on the skin just make sure your client has had a patch test, your tutor only says that because they have to go by all the rules (insurance stuff) they would never do that themselves but they have to teach you the "right" way. Everyone picks up habits.

Sorry to jump this thread! Just wondered if there's anyone in the cheshire area that does hd brows mobile?

Thanks :)

I'm always being asked to do mobile, but I just work from my studio in Liverpool.
Do a search on the salon finder section on the HD Brows Website - thats the only way you're going to get a true HD Brow Stylist. I know people who advertise as doing HD Brows and infact have done a copy cat version of the course but still advertise as HD Brows ( Naughty ) xx

I took the plunge and had HD Brows done, I was really nervous as I'm a red head with almost blonde eyebrows but I love them now

The colour isnt too harsh on you which is good, it suits you :) x - but did they not wax your brows or trim them ? HDBrows have 7 steps to create that defined look. xx

hi im, tryinhg too up load hd photos can some one exsplain either from my i phone or laptop thanjks

I would love to do HD and have trained with mainly 'high end' brands so hopefully one day I will have the money to do the course. But for now this is my version. Dynamic brows, they are tinted, waxed, threaded and trimmed and maybe a little finishing powder if needed. Here's some pictures :

Darker brow had a lot more hair there than the lighter brow. We are trying to achieve a slightly thicker and tapered brow on the second image, after her next visit I think this will be achieved.

I have seen HD Brows looking more defined but more often than not to get the real HD shape it's a work in progress.

I did the HD training 2 years ago, and it was fantastic, I've been a therapist for a very long time and I thought it was worth the money and it was one of the best trainings I have ever been to.

There are alot of awful HD Brow look-a-likes out there that try and cheat by just doing a brow tint and shape, but this is a 7 step procedure that designs the brow in High Definition for that brow and that face. HD Brows have filled most of the empty spaces in my salon and brought a different kind of client, so I'm very happy with that.

Why do u say the training was good and where did u do it I personally felt a bit rushed and still feel unsure about sum of the designs I would of liked an extra day if I'm being totally honest ! I'm sure I will have many that disagree but that's just my opinion x
