I would love to have this done as a treatment on myself but I have a hard Time trying to trust someone else doing my eyebrows other than me lol the other thing is (and I hope I don't offend anyone by saying this) I think that sometimes and I believe is down to the therapists part that it can often look to harsh on some people and too fake. Almost like a 'spouse brow' so again this is scary cos I don't want to end up like that lol

Definitely love seeing everyone's before and after tho, there all brilliant xx

Lovely eyebrows they look great everyone
Does anyone know what gray tint is used for? I had it with my kit but never knew when or why I would use this colour. Thanks

Sorry, wasn't sure if my pictures uploaded correctly. They are pictures of my HD Brows clients. I'm still practicing as I've not long had the training.
It was a load of money and I'm still trying to convince myself it was worth it.
What do you think?

I know places that do HD brows well its the same as HD brows but they name them differantly, basically they are trained in everything and just put there own name on it without havin to pay for the HD course. Has anyone done this? :)

Grey tint can be used alone or mixed in with the warm colours ie, light brown, brown to cancel out some of the warmth. Stop them going to gingery. Bit like getting a toner after highlights. :)

I soooooooooooo want to do this course this year!!! Eyebrows are becoming more and more popular. I use regular tint but would LOVE my clients to enjoy HD Brows!!!

I did the HD brows training course in June and have never looked back!I too was very sceptical mainly due to the price as I felt I did a real good tint and shape anyway. however I would definitely recommend it to anyone passionate about brows. today my column consisted only of HD brow treatments, I was booked solid from 9-4, not bad for January! with HD brows it's not about staining the skin we focus on redesigning the perfect brows for the client ;-)

This tread is brilliant!!
Kim lawless.....I have actually copied and pasted some of your advice onto my 'notes' app on my ipad lol.....it's very helpful indeed!! Thank you....will definitely be trying out the cocktail stick idea xx

I haven't done the HD brow course as yet, however my understanding of it is that it is a personalised prescriptive treatment for clients eyebrows.
There are some clients that want more of an arch etc than they may have at this time, so it's tailoring the treatment for them, while they grow out their brows more etc, which is where the retailing comes in. The client can still have the look whilst the brows are growing and improving with each treatment.

I think it comes down to personal preference with each therapist and their expenditure on courses and if they have the clientele to recoup this expenditure, as to which course they do.

Whether HD or the lovely Kim Lawless, Hi Brows etc, its still all about the reputation that we want to be associated with, and the reputation we wish to create and sustain ourselves. There has to be great customer service when re stocking products, and support to help grow your business etc.

A lot of us that do nails are either CND trained, or want to be, why........reputation, market leaders etc! Brows is no different.

In my own personal opinion, Nilam and Amita's courses are designed for you to be able to make money from being specialised in one treatment, where as SOME courses are designed to be as add on services.

i think if i were doing those - id try and thicken out the outter part a little

just to create a little more balance in the brow as the inner part is very thick

theres quite a big difference between the two sections of the brow

id try and even that out a little

Here are my eyebrows tinted, waxed and tweezed. I always find it harder to shape my own. There's something by right but I can't put my finger on it. Help

hey there - see what you mean the centres are quite right...get close to a mirror and use your orange stick to check but i think the centre lines at strange angle and pullin the brows in

also above the brow - do you think that area needs working on a little more? maybe smoothing it off/reducing ever so slightly

i think with time and tweeking you'll get there

Right, these are my latest attempt at an HD style brow, although I only tinted and plucked and powdered! There's quite a lot that I would probably do differently but her eyebrows weren't the easiest to work with as the brows weren't consistent. I did find that the skin didn't tint as much as I would like though, so out of interest how long do you leave the tint for? I used Refectocil natural brown and removed after around 10 mins and then placed the tint again to along the skin that I felt needed more tinting but only left that for around 5 mins. Any advice would be appreciated xxx

My only comment on these would be that they should start closer in the middle, other than that they're a vast improvement on the before, well done!

Here are brows I did... Before, after, and after with pencil... Xx
