my client is currentley abase 8/0, we acheive this by bleaching and then toneing with 8/0 colour touch. my client now wants to go to the colour in the picture attatched. i would like to use wella colour touch to tone with rather than kolaston mixed with pastel as it is more gentle. i havent goit a colour touch shade chart at hand, i will first blech my clients hair to a very very pale yellow and then i was thinking of toning with 9/16? i am a little worried the 9/16 will be slightly too dark as she wants to be very platinum (like the picture) any ideas as i havent got my shade chart to hand? or am i best to just tone with kolaston and pastel with comething like a 10/16? thanks!

Yes your right. The 9/16 color touch would not be light enough. If you must use Wella, I would bleach to your very very pale yellow, then pastel tone with Koleston 10/16 You could also bleach the hair and then use the Schwarzkopf blond me toner. I would recommend the ice additive for your color.

thanks for reply! i did think i would have to tone with 10/16 and pastel lol, just like how gentle colour touch is lol her hair is a little dy anyway, she is having a lot cut off though so thats good. will let you know how it goes!x

You could use colour touch, and use clear with /68 ? Or 10/0 with /68

blond me wrecked my hair!! Would never touch the stuff again!

Oh dear that,s a real shame.

yeah thats not a bad idea, do you think 10/16 would be slightly too grey looking or do you think the pic looks like a 10/16, just scared of it grabbing on ends...x

So mix two lots up, or apply to roots wait to develop then ends, 10.16 wud be a creamy blonde but you want platinium, 10.8 or my suggestion above

with matrix color sync you never have these issues with grabbing, as it contains cera oil complex, as processes at same time.

thanks bluerinse thats good advice, im thinking now because her hair is already porous on the ends and i will be bleaching it a couple of shades i might just get it to a pale yellow and go with colour fresh 0/6 (semi) wont have to worry about grab then x
