I've long been watching this website as I love seeing pictures of gorgeous long beautifully decorated nails and I would love to be one of those people. My nails unfortunately have other ideas.

They are stupidly thin and weak, can bend backwards with very little effort and are forever chipping and breaking. A few months ago I purchased a nail strengthening polish, cut my nails right down, used a 4 way buffer block to get them up to scratch and used the product as instructed (2 coats on first day, additional coat every other day and take all off and repeat after 7 days). I really thought it would help however the polish kept chipping off the same day and the next day (the same issue I have with regular nail polish) exposing the nail and allowing it to break once they reached a certain length. Have tried various techniques in the past and none have worked for me. I actually have fairly good hair and skin, eat a fairly good diet and drink loads of water so I'm really stumped at what else to do. Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated, even on just how to help a nail strengthener better adhere to my nails so it will have a chance to work.

Thank you in advance.

I had really weak nails because I picked off a set of acrylics it ruined my nails strength, especially along the tip, I've been having gelish done at the salon ever since and my nails have grown lots and are lovley and strong now x

Don't use a 4 way buffer chances are you are over filing your nails which makes them weaker. Go for a salon treatment such as CND shellac, no buffing to the natural nail. Lots of solar oil too! If you go on Lovecnd.com you'll get a salon locator for people in your area :) xx

IBX is a strengthening product unlike others, designed to penetrate the nail plate and provide strength from within

I offer a treatment that combines IBX and Smoothing Shellac for my clients with exceptionally weak nails and they become transformed quickly.
Best part of IBX is that it stays in your nail and keeps working regardless of what you have topically on the nail :)

I have the same problem from repeat use of acrylics so now I just get shellac as there's no damage and I use solar oil daily my nails are better and getting stronger xx
