Hi experts and novices!

I've always wanted to be a hairdresser since I was 14.
After I left school I went straight into college to train but left after 6 months due to unforseen personal problems.
Anyhoo, I've just applied to be a junior apprentice at my local hair academy. I hope I am sucessful! The age limit for applicants is 30 and I'm 28 so just in time.

I love styling my family and friends hair and regularly tint/style their hair with professional products, my sister is my guinea pig bless her. I have some knowledge that I have learned over the years so I think that might be useful in the salon whilst I am learning.

I love this forum and have only recently registered after lurking for quite sometime. Just want to explain were I am coming from and to say hi to all.

I've applied for Contempary Hair Academy in Middlesbrough.
TBH I'm not entirely clued up on the place. Do I train at the Academy or am I put on a placement?
