Hi guys im so confused need help. How much do you charge extra for nail lengths and do you charge extra for nail shapes like in America. They charge extra basically for everything. How about swarovski crystals? And hand painted designs? And what would you charge for these i add pic of one of my work. Thank you in advance x x x

I charge basic amount for acrylic. Then extra £5 for gel polish. About 50p per nail for hand painted art. And extra for swarovski. For one nail full like that I would charge about £3. I don't charge any extra for different shapes or lengths or for pink and white acrylic or encapsulated glitter, cos it doesn't really effect my costs too much or add that much time, but swarovski obvs is expensive to buy xxx

All my prices are on my fb page Rebecca Beevers mobile nails. I only charge £20 for the actual acrylic, but your base price depends on where you live. Your nails look neater than mine too xxx

I don't change for length or shape. I'm the same, as £5 extra for gel polish then £2 for partial glitter or £3 for full glitter.
I do charge extra for encapsulated glitter etc as its extra product and time to pre mix and then another clear coat which all takes me more time.

I don't charge for length or shape. £29 for new set acrylics, +£5 extra for shellac/gellux on top of acrylics, then extras: +£3 for glitter, crushed foils or ombre, +£4 stamping, 20p each rhinestones, 50p per nail for art

For these nails i charge £37
Full set of hard gel £30
Lengths £2
Full nail with chrystals £3
Glitter per nail 0.50 x2
Hand painted nail £1
Do I charge to much and wrong? I need some advice please x x

I would say that's a reasonable price as you are obviously very skilled! Prices are always area dependent though, like someone else mentioned earlier. In my area I would be charging the same price as you X

If you have repeat customers and your diary is pretty full then there isn't an issue with what you charge. I do think skill level plays a part too. I would not get clients in my area willing to pay that, but as I said before your work is way better than mine. I think ppl will be willio to pay more to get beautiful nails like that x

Zane how much would you charge for the ones in the pic you posted?

I think it depends upon the area too. Most of my clients want nail art, glitter and Swarovski crystals but when a new client asks the price I often don't hear from them again.
Unfortunately nails are no longer a luxury. I used to pay £70 for a set of silk extensions 16 years ago. It was a treat and I loved my appointment

Took your advice here and charged extra for the glitter cos this level of glitter took me loads longer. My first set of full nail encapsulated glitters xxx

I jist painted, dont know how to explane really. I draw 3 petals cured and then other lines. And looks like lace x

Thank you everyone for all replies, I'm still thinking to add £2 to £3 for lengths if nails are this long. I can't charge the same price for long and short. It's not fair for me and my products

Wow you obviously have a lot of natural talent!

Do you use shellac/paint with a small brush or something else? I think whoever pays £37 for those would be delighted and have a bit of a bargain!

Once my educator told me charge more for those things what you don't like to do in my case pedicures, or what is harder for you in your case glitter designs so yea i think you should charge more for that ☺

I use gel paint, love gel paints they are thinner. I have small brush but not small enough hoping to buy smaller next weekend in beauty show. Love painting and creating pretty things just not enought time to practice ☺ these roses are painted with gelpolish
