Problems with Gelish LED 18g lamp

Hi guys

Some of my clients have been complaining about the heat from the lamp. Has anyone else had this? It's less than a year old.

I've heard of heat spikes, especially with using the top it off. Apparently it could be caused if the layer is too thick so that could be why? Not sure if there are any other causes but I had the same problem last year and when I asked the educator she advised me about that and never had a problem since x

The gel is too thick...get your client to press their fingers down and it goes away xx

Could be that the gel is being painted on too thick, or it can also happen if the nail is damaged/over filed
