I've got parlux and always been very pleased, quiet I'm not sure, the 3200 is pretty quiet hth x

Have you seen the Gamma Più E-T.C. Light Hair Dryer?

It's got a turbo compressor that prevents air being forced back into the dryer when you're working close to the dryer. That makes it considerably quieter than most dryers.

tried and tested a few over the years and i must say parlux is by far the best.. nice to hold not heavy and quiet. you can get a silencer for them but iv never really thought about buying one.
