Hey folks would my client be able to use a crazy colour whilst having a 4 week course of radiotherapy ? I know she can't have any oxidative colours but is crazy colour safe?

Hi I having got a clue but maybe ya might be better ringing the company that makes crazy colour to be on the safe side instead of taking someones word for it off here. Xxx

Hi.
Not sure if im any help either but i colour alot of clients who have had radiotherapy/chemotherapy.
Our protocall is not to colour untill 3 months after treatments finished, regardless of whether its a temporary or not.
I have a lady coming in today who finished treatment 2 months ago and i have explained i can not guarantee what it will do as sometimes the deposits left in the hair from the medication can change the colour completley,or they could react.
I have patch tested and am going to advise not to go too dark and see what happens.
Trial and error as everyones body reacts differently to everything!
I know that a lady i have who is now clear started with a temporary colour after 3 months off treatment and weve now built it up to foils and permanent colour and shes fine.
Sorry its not much help.

Just an update guys!
Coloured my clients hair and it went really well.
Went to base 3 with some warm but not too many tones in it as the natural hair was v grey although very soft hair.
Treated well before colour, massaged in well and came out about 4 with warm tones, which i knew would hence the base 3!
Looked fab and client was over the moon.
Another lady on the road to recovery!:D
