Red to copper ?

Hi I've got a client that's a base 4 and I coloured her hair with gold well 5vr which was great but she wants to go more copper and lighter like 7kr/7or I know tint won't lift tint so will I have to pre lighten? She also has about 30 gray her hairs short and in good condition please any advice would be great as doing this today and the clients my mum so really need to get it right as you can tell I'm not very confident with colour I must admit it scares me a bit and I need to over come this to better myself and become more confident.

Yes you need to lift slightly, so bleach, 6% with a clarifying shampoo All equal parts, rub through ends do not get on roots and lift out till its orange, then use 7KG with 10vol on ends and 30vol on roots
