Hi iv been approached by a few clients who want to come over to me for acrylics. Iv always been against removing other techs acrylics incase of damaged nails etc. However I'm being asked a lot and feel I am now loosing business.

What do you all do? I was thinking maybe a disclaimer could be signed to say I'm not responsible for any damage that may be found when I remove the old acrylic?
Would love to hear your thoughts ?

Yes I used to be against it but you're right, you do lose business.

Any extra time taken to remove is more than worth it if you win a new client. The soak off time is a time to educate clients about the perils of NSS, why MMA is bad, why you shouldn't pull nails off etc

Depending on the condition I will either apply new set, or recommend appropriate treatment such as IBX or use of RXX until such time as the nails are in a fit state to proceed.

I never turn clients away! Clients who are coming for another salon are the perfect ones to convert and can become your most loyal.
