Hi guys,

I'm brand new here and I'm hoping some of you experts can help me with my quest for the perfect resin.
I'm actually making nail art for horse hooves and I have no experience with human nails, besides buying cheap-o nail polish from the drug store -- please take pity on me!

I've found that using a nail resin totally secures my designs onto my horse's foot and they last up to three weeks. I'm trying to find *the* perfect resin, though, and I am so impressed with the amount of chemistry and tech-savvy know how that many of you all have on the subject!

My dream is to make a small business out of this, and my target audience would include children (like 12yrs & up). The resin I have been using, from ASP Nail, has gotten on my hands many times and never has stuck my skin together. Safety is paramount, and I don't want to use something that instantly bonds skin, but I would like to find something that is slightly more viscous and stronger than the ASP-- I'm wondering if this goes hand in hand with bonding skin (stronger nail bonding, stronger/faster skin bonding)?
I think the ASP I have is a "low" viscosity resin -- it drips pretty readily. I had at first tried a different brand (really would have been helpful to remember which), that was too viscous - I'd like to be able to use a little sponge applicator (like what you find to apply eye shadow), to sprend it around, and not have that take two hours to do! (At this point I'm thinking use of the resin would be a one-time thing -- use the tube/bottle/whatever, than through it out.)

I really appreciate any suggestions you all can send my way!

Wow that's an interesting idea. I use resin by The Edge. However it doesn't work in the way you want it to, I've not tried any others yet so I've got no comparison but I believe you can get brush on resin
