Hello,
I'm currently using Suntana! Can't fault Suntana customer service it is fab & the solutions smell divine.. But I'm finding that it fades off too quick!
I sprayed my sister 8% coconut - when she washed off it was a REALLY light tan only just noticeable. Also used for her friend - 8% coconut the same thing happened, they are both fairly pale & requested a light tan (although they both admitted this was TOO light) I went to see my sister 2 days after her tan & shes her normal colour again! anyway they'd both followed before & aftercare & my tan technique is ok & im confident its not me.. Im using correct amount, no runs or drips, & minimal overspray (so I'm assuming I'm an ok sprayer ) so I am a bit miffed about the quick fade off!

Sprayed my mam with cherry 10% & after wash off she text me 'best tan ever! Bla bla' but I went to her house on Monday 3 days after I'd sprayed her & she's her original colour again! She said it's ok don't worry! I've explained to her that whilst she's ok by it.. Joe public won't have the same attitude! Does that make sense? Hope so! lol

Did my hubby with 12% chocolate & he said yeah I love it but same things happened with him only he got a little longer wear out if it.. 4 days I think he looked normal colour again.

I phoned Suntana today & spoke to a lady whos answer was it's this time of the year? Tans don't take as much in the winter? I don't fancy explaining that to an angry client though & if I'm being honest It would sound like i was using a bit of an excuse to my client wouldn't it?

I've had a bit of a search today & I'm keen to try nouvatan, spoke to the lovely Sarah today & I'm ordering some samples later when my husband hands over his bank card :)

I just need a brand I'm 100% happy with in all areas! I'm looking at it as if I was the client & I'm not going to stock a brand if I wouldn't be happy wearing it myself.

I'll get my nouvatan samples spray my own legs, do my mam & hubby & sister & pray to god I can go ahead & order nouvatan! But so far I'm swayed by everyone's nouvatan comments lol

Just have a few quickie questions
What's the guide colour like? When spraying on is it too dark or just right so you know were you've sprayed?
Happy clients after tan?
How many novatan % do you stock? All or just some?
How long does the tan usually last?
Thanks! X

Hi there
Been using Nouvatan for 18 months now. I have never had any complaints and out of about 150 people who I have sprayed during that time I have only had half a dozen who preferred the LA tan solution that I first started out with. I stock LA disco to give a really dark solution, which I use for disco dancers and I stock 8, 10, 12 and 16 in Nouvatan. But saying that you dont have to buy a litre of each as the beauty of nouvatan is that you can mix the solutions to make the strength you want. If I was you if you decide to buy I would get 8 and 16 to start off with because out of this you can make the 10, 12, 14 solutions from it by mixing together. I am sure Dawn or Steve will be along shortly to put you straight (they are the owners of Nouvatan). You will have fantastic customer care and advice at the end of the phone any time you want, nothing is a bother and no I dont work for them lol, I just love the product!.

So to answer your questiosn:
What's the guide colour like? It is a lovely colour, really natural looking and smells lovely when being applied.
When spraying on is it too dark or just right so you know were you've sprayed? yes it is easy to see where you haev sprayed, it is very light and feels lovely on the skin. Not too dark, so clients could still go shopping after an application rather than going into hiding.
Happy clients after tan? yes I would say I have about 98% satisfaction guaratneed, and the 2% were the clients who preferred the LA tan solution who were looking for that "darker" look. Fade off is the best I haeve seen and I have tried a lot. The LA tan solution just doesnt fade off as nice on 98% of people but seems to be fine for some, it must just depend on their skin.
How many novatan % do you stock? All or just some? - see above
How long does the tan usually last? I always say about 5-7 days and I always guarantee never to turn anyone orange!

I hpope this helps. Just thinking about what i said about the 2 solutions, sometimes it is worth buying the 3 bottles so i would get 8, 12 and 16, because you get free delivery so the price between buying 2 bottles and 3 is sometimes not much different so in the long run buy 3. You can also find them on facebook

I recently changed to Nouvatan and its the best thing I ever did

Plus points:
100% happy clients
Colour guide is great and my clients have all commented on how it doesn't come off on their clothing/bedding so they are happy to go out straight from a tan without waiting to shower off
Fade off is the best I've seen (and I've been tanning since 2004 and used many brands!) and tans last on average 5-7 days, sometimes longer
I trailed the 10/12/14/16/20% and currently stock the 10/12/16% as I find these the most frequently used for my client base, with the intention of getting the 20% next order to use as a rapid tan
Customer service is second to none

Negative points:
Err...none, unless you count having to replace all my current stock for a fabulous product :wink2:

I used Suntana for a couple of years and didn't have problems with it fading. Clients got a good 5-7 days from it. I haven't used it for a while now as I don't do many tans any more but maybe they have changed the solution? :wink2:

Thanks for all the input :)

One other thing that I wondered..... Obviously I know that I can use nouvatan if I haven't trained with them (L.A tan trained) but I spray completely different to how nouvatan spray.. Will this be a problem if I use nouvatan solutions but spray different? I watched a facebook video of Dawn spraying a client but it's way way WAY different to how I spray!!
Hoping this won't matter too much though.....
For example I spray the face - (ain't no good explaining but I'll try lol) up down, up down, that's the middle part of face done, then I repeat this step each side of the face. I do all areas of the body like this (sort of like counting 1,2,3,4 in my head) all tans have been ok & I only usually Use a maximum of 40 (ish) ml per tan.
Would this be ok to continue to do my tans like how im doing now but switch to nouvatan & continue my same routine??? I feel confident in my spray routine now & I don't want to change it because I'll get scared of spraying again :irked:

Yes you can use any routine with any solution, so you don't have to change your routine when you change brands of solution. So long as your getting all of the body and your not using too much solution you'll be fine. :wink2:

Thank you baggy bear x
