Kate, thats good to know that the machine does all those tans. Do you have an email address that i could email pictures of my tent and see what you think?

I would like to get a new gun but due to finances it isn't possible at the moment. I did think about signing up to fake bake at home just so i could get the new gun and tent, but i'd really need to see how many tans i get in a month when i start advertising and if it would be worth it.

The thing that is putting me off advertising is i'm not 100% confident in the equipment. I'm happy doing the tan now and have had good results when I done a few practice tans and now i'm charging.

The masking tape has done the job for now but its just annoying that its a new machine and the hose popped out on my 2nd tan. It could be a faulty kit like you say

yeah, i'll keep phoning.

i'm partly to blame as well for it going on so long. i was away most of may and wasn't able to call. i've been back for a couple of weeks now and called a few times.

probably if i hadn't been away it may have been delt with sooner

Just to add to this, I know he is hectic at the minute as he is away for a week or two this month. You can e-mail me pics of your tent if you like but not sure how I can help hun. [email protected]

He will more than likely send you a new hose, but I put silicone on it anyway and its perfect now. I use the HVLP 550 and its served me really well, but if I teach with them sometimes they cut out because they get too hot. Most machines will to prevent drastic damage such as the motor burning out which could mean you will need to buy a brand new machine.

I too have this gun, and last week the solution started running out of the container ( made a right mess!) but on closer inspection i found that inside the lid part of the container, there is a little rubber seal and this was not laying flat and therefore the cap wasnt screwing on properly. Once I sorted that it was absolutely fine again. Never had a problem with hose or cutting out so can't comment on that. hth

There waiting on a big stock order and are really busy at the moment but I will be getting a new tent and hose for my gun. Really happy about this and getting set to do mobile/parties when it arrives

This is not good service, I use there tent and machine, but luckily have not need to contact them with regards to any problems, kepp on at them x

Yes it is a pest. I was that excited when i heard my new tent was on its way i placed a huge order and got advertising sorted.

But now I'm sitting twiddling my thumbs as I need a tent before I can take party bookings.

Luckily for me I'm pregnant and suffering morning sickness so the thought of starting up is making me sick but i'd have put up with it

You have my sympathy. I bought a tent and machine and my tent was really b**gered, so bad that I couldnt use it. I never got any reply after numerous times of trying to contact, and so in the end I gave up and bought another tent form another supplier because I had to get on with spraying clients. My gun also leaks - still does and always has. I just have to watch out for clients feet!

It is such a pest. I cant do mobile and thats where I'd get a lot of work.

I really want to know one way or another rather than getting my hopes up and sitting twiddling my thumbs thinking its on its way

Yeah I don't like to say it, but it was the same company.

That's why in the end I'm afraid I gave up and sorted myself out elsewhere, it was stopping me from getting on and making money.

I really hope you get a better response!

Hi Geeks I think you have been more than patient with this company I would demand a refund from them how long are you going to wait for you supposed new items to be sent out. Why dont you speak to trading standards about them.

God what a crap company I really feel for you you dont need this stress I know I complained about a well known company when I ordered some shoes and they went missing twice and my card was charged and when i complained they were like oh the delivery company have a signature but not to my address so when I got trading standards involved it was sorted out very quickly.
