Shellac colour help!

Hi Ladies,

If you could only have 5 Shellac polishes in your kit, which would you choose?

I've just converted to CND from Gelish and can't decide on colours to get me going! Help a sister out!

Only 5?? Hmm tricky.

Well Beau for use alone or as a French pink

Cream puff mostly for French or great background for nail art/stamping

Tropix - vivid coral

Wildfire - pillar box red

Hot pop pink -Matt bubblegum pink

All the bottom three colours can have beau layered over them to make them a tad paler and more shimmery giving you multiple shades

Tartan Punk (for the red)
Hot Pop Pink (pink)
Tango Passion (purple)
Waterpark (blue)
Tropix (coral)

That would cover you for the summer (guess you can tell I don't like French [emoji23])

I've been looking at shellac colours and can't decide either lol on sweet squared they offer collections which have a few colours in them and they also offer kits which come with base and top coat I think

Thanks ladies! Well that's 'Hot Pop Pink' and 'Tropix' definitely on the list! I really like the look of FieldFox, Satin Pyjamas, Rubble. . but i'm trying to be conscious of not just choosing colours I like. . . X

VickyToms, i've just literally replied to your post regarding the packages. . I was in the same boat as yourself eyeing them all up! I'd have loved the 'Love Shellac Package' with all the warm/Autumnal tones and the polish rack but it's been discontinued. I'm considering getting the Summer Package when it's back in stock. . But I can't decide if I like all the colours! Eeek! X

I asked about the colours when I was looking to buy and I'm sure they said that the colours are popular except one of the greens?

Oh fab - thanks hun! It's nice to see them all together as I was googling back and fourth! Yeah it was the Digi-Teal and Art Basil I wasn't too keen on. . But then again, clients might like it! *Hopeful thinking*

Field fox is my most popular colour! While the weather is nice and for people going on holiday I also do a lot of tropix & hot pop pink. Wildfire & satin pyjamas are popular too x

I'd go tutti frutti over future fuschia, my FF fades something chronic (and I'm in Australia so it's deff not open shoe season for it to fade so bad!!) and we are in the middle of winter, I do love sparks fly (gorgeous for layering)
To be honest when I bought FF it was a toss up between that and tropix and I'm extremely disappointed I didn't go with tropix

And my ultimate favourite is field fox, it makes an amazing nude when paired with bare chemise

Field Fox and Tropix are definitely my most popular. Also loving Tango Passion and Tutti Frutti!

I don't find the bright greens, blues, yellows or even the metallics that popular, but then again I don't do nail art. Most of my clients stick to nudes, reds, pinks ...or the darker blues and dark purples).

My most popular colours are: Field Fox, Cake Pop, Rose Bud Tropix, Lobster Roll, Tartan Punk, Masquerade (however I think the new 'Oxblood' shade will overtake Masquerade), Pink Bikini, Magenta Mischief, Dark Dahlia, Midnight Swim. I also use grapefruit sparkle a lot as I layer it over other shades.
