To be honest I don't see how crutches help anyway, unless both crutches are down and you're swinging by your arm pits :D

Did they mention anything about pain relief meds? I read numerous people were prescribed cocodamol but I thought paracetamol was the best you were allowed. Anywho their docs/midwives have prescribed so may be worth having a chat with your gp/midwife for a low dose.

Mind you I gave myself a heart attack the other week, my PGP was rotten and had a headache so I thought I'll neck a couple of paracetamol, ten mins later I thought bloody hell those are strong only to find out id accidentally took two very strong cocodamols. I was so scared! All was fine, daycare said don't panic just keep an eye of babs movements. Well I was spaced out for about an hour, head ache went but it didn't even touch my PGP!

Xxx

Aw girls you're having such a hard time with physios. I really hope you get sorted soon, you both must be in so much pain!

Delish, congratulations, he's gorgeous! Can't believe how quickly you got home, that's brilliant!!

I had scan yesterday to see if my placenta had moved from my cervix. It has moved away but it's only 2cm away and they like 3cm so I am having a scan again in 2 weeks. They said if I don't get 3cm clearance then I will have to have c-section. I find this weird as surely because its out of the way I can have natural, but apparently not. Feel a bit terrified of c-section but will see what happens in 2 weeks.

On a side note, she's measuring at the top of their chart. I was 34+2 yesterday and they reckon she's 6lbs already!! First baby was 9lb 4oz so I must just grow them big. Was lovely seeing her on the screen.

Chicaholly I had section (emergency) & it's not as bad as you think, I'd of obviously preferred a natural delivery (I ended up getting the long labour part lol) just not the delivery! as my little boy decided to get himself stuck up there!

But I'm 7 weeks post section now & I honestly don't even feel like I've had one I feel totally normal, I have done for a few weeks now xx

Delish how big was he Hun?

He looks like a little dolly so cute xx congrats xx

Good luck honey. My first was early and 8lb 10 so who knows what this monkey will be. My midwife has offered me a growth scan if I want one bless her so I can get an idea. Haha im not sure that I want to know.

If you have a c section have they said when theyll do it? There are a few of us due around the same time :) I can't wait to see everyones pictures. I love looking at the ones now too :)

Little monkey is sitting on my hip which doesn't help, but I've not got PGP as bad as some poor ladies. I think we all have a pregnancy discomfort don't we one way or another. I've got 7 weeks left as of Sunday and I just want it to hurry up eeeek im so excited. My acid reflux is the pits, I think ive hit that stage in pregnancy where your body suddenly just goes in to pregnancy overdrive. My friend came over today and we were talking about labour and she reminded me, yes it will be painful but there aren't many painful experiences where you instantly get something lovely afterwards. .. im holding on to that thought with both hands :D

There's no way I could use crutches anyway! I was so mad when I left. I've got 30/500 co codamol already from the doctor. But again like you, they wipe me out, I feel like crap & I can't concentrate or work off them. They barely touch the pain either. I started taking 2 at night just to help me sleep, but I was the same, and I couldn't use the toilet for days after. I've been told not to take them now anyway with me being a month from giving birth.
The physio said "well sweetheart, the only thing you can do to stop this is give birth! With a huge grin on her face. I wanted to whack her with my crutch!!!! Xxx

She didn't! I'm surprised she didn't end up on crutches after that comment :D What a completely ridiculous and unhelpful comment to make. Crikey with my hormonal pent up aggression I hope my physio has a bit more sense haha. Well that's if I ever get to see one!

Lush-lash I'm just being irrational about the c-section. I nearly ended up with one the first time but finally got the wee man out with a ventouse. I think I would prefer knowing I was having one (than emergency) as then I can psych myself up for it, if that makes sense. It's good to know that you are feeling normal at 7 weeks, as it took me over 2 months to feel slightly normal after last birth, but I lost a lot of blood and needed transfusions so wasn't pleasant.

Happyfeet, they said elective would be at 39 weeks so maybe round 15th April. I'm going to do a placenta dance though and hope it moves hahaha. A few of us don't have long to go now, exciting times ahead!

Delish love his name.

Amanda how long have you left now? I can't remember what you said before. Really hope the next few weeks go in quickly for you x

Chica holly I had the ventouse aswell but it failed so did the forceps so that's why I had to have the section. Taylor ended up with a cephaelhematoma from the ventouse aswell & it didn't even bloody work getting him out.

I have a very stubborn child! lol. X
