It is really stressful not knowing what the outcome is going to be but I'm staying positive with the help of my partner, we both know what could happen but we are remaining hopeful and keeping faith that she will fight through to stay with us xxx
I think its good to spread the cost, very sensible. Will def go crazy after we find out the sex!
I don 't mind to be honest, i'd eventually like at least one of each. I have a feeling i've got a boy, but i couldn't tell you why! A client did the ring trick and it came ip boy and my mum thinks boy as well. I lost my grandad last Sept, whom i was very close to so i'm wondering if thats why we all think boy. One life ends, another begins...
(Trying my hardest not to well up right now!)
Do you have any preference?
Have they said she has 50/50 chance of being born alive or is it a ongoing thing xx
It's 50/50 for the first couple of months (ish) she's fine all the time I'm carrying her but once she's born it's 50/50 and then after her repair op it's dodgy again. I think the hardest thing to start with is knowing I won't be able to have any skin to skin contact with her until they can get her stabilised but her birth is going to be planned a few weeks early so the right team are there ready and waiting to whisk her off and look after her. I'm going to be going to the princess ann in Southampton and apparently they have one of the best neonatal wards in the uk so I just got to put my trust in them to look after her xxx
You brave brave lady. I really dont know how i would cope myself with something like that. Ive got my 20 wk scam tues and im already worrying lol xx
Thoughts are with you hun, I lost my dad five years ago this year so I know how hard it is. I'm also thinking it's a boy, but that could be because I've always wanted a boy first. Haven't tried the ring thing yet but I may do later tonight.
I'd like to have 3 eventually but not sure if that'll be the case after this one lol.
Are you starting to show yet? X
If anyone had told me something like this would be happening in my life, I would say I would never cope with it. But it's amazing the strength you find when you're faced with it and have no other option we were offered a termination at 21 weeks but I would have had to give birth anyway and our decision was to carry on and hope all turns out well. And I'm believing that even if I only get a few minutes with her, at least we tried and didn't give up on her, and those few minutes will make the last 38 weeks worth it
Aww bless u, I'm sure everything will be fine, let me know how you get on hunni xxx
I loved being pregnant & love even more being a mum to my ace little boy, so we have decided to save & have ivf again (can't have children naturally) so we will try give Taylor a little brother or sister.
I'm not pursuing with it just yet as my little one is only 3 months old, but another couple of years we will.
Taylor took 10 years trying & 2 rounds of ivf, so I think it's only fair we save enough for 2 rounds & give it the same as we did with Taylor & then what will be will be. x
this is my local Hosp and where most of my family (siblings, nephews, niece, kids, grandaughters) were born, 6 of which were in neonatal. It's 50/50 for the first couple of months (ish) she's fine all the time I'm carrying her but once she's born it's 50/50 and then after her repair op it's dodgy again. Say hello to Maximus Giganticus currently 7lb 5oz at 36 weeks + 4 so they're expecting a 9lber at my home birth. . . If only they could give you an epidural at home! Gas and air only. .. and a ruddy great rum and coke afterwards i feel! Anywho after an eventful scan (wanted me to have another GTT which I now don't have to have thanks to my midwife yay HUGE needle and hospital phobia here) baby Max is doing really well and just one bonny baby! So here he is, face on for camera!

Hi everyone! I'm due to go in for an elective section tmrw at 8.30..... Currently been laid in the bath for 30 mins, I've been having contractions since 4am! So I think my princess is either playing games (had pains on & off for a week & lost my plug last week) or she's eager to come out! Wish me luck!!! 😁😁😁 xxx

I'm laid in bed in agony counting my contractions.... They asked if there was no complications if I wanted to go ahead with a normal delivery & I said yes, but thinking how the hell will I know if there's complications or not? Gonna wait till 9 & ring the ward. I'm too tired to give birth!!!! X
