I'm laid in bed in agony counting my contractions.... They asked if there was no complications if I wanted to go ahead with a normal delivery & I said yes, but thinking how the hell will I know if there's complications or not? Gonna wait till 9 & ring the ward. I'm too tired to give birth!!!! X

Have you had a previous section?

If I had another baby I would want to try vbac after my last section not because I thought the section was bad or anything because I was ok, it's just I went through labour but not the delivery, so would love to try to deliver normally.

They will ask if you want to do a trial of labour. Because it was my third and I had been contracting at home for 24 hours witg my waters going 8 hours earlier they examined me and said I was only 1/2 cm ao did I want to carry on or have section. I had section!

right, go for a walk, I know it sounds like the last thing you want but just take it easy. Get some fresh pineapple down you and play with your nipples, this stimulates the hormones and can help make contractions more effective.
They admitted me even though I hadnt dilated but I think it is because my waters broke and although I didn't have placenta previa it was laying next to my cervix

I've been up & mobile all day, walking the dog, hoovering & mopping, I've been craving pineapple throughout pregnancy & polished a full one off today, I've been drinking loads of water(as full bladder is supposed to help) any nothing! My nips are too sore to touch at the min so I can't do that. Just really fed up. It's been 19 hours now & I'm no further on than 4am. I'm absolutely shattered & I'm being admitted at 7.30am. I'm too tired to have a baby! X 😢🔫

Well I went back in hospital at 4.40am this morn & had my section at 6.30.
I'm tired & sore but otherwise not too bad, little lady is being good as gold!

Congratulations Amanda, she's lovely.

I had my section yesterday at 39 weeks. She was born at 14:09 and weighed 8lbs 8ozs.

I'm soooo jealous of you ladies and your babies I've been having all manor of twinges and pressure pains but little mr man isn't due for two weeks... haha how impatient am I! I hope you are all enjoying your beautiful babies and that you're all feeling well. I can't wait to give birth to my hormones never mind my baby boy I'm like a flippin waterfall atm.

As said enjoy mumma's and give those beautiful babe's a big squidge from me xxx

In jealous of these new babies! I'm inly 11 weeks pregnant and feel like I have a lifetime to go. Have my scan in 1 week today so something to look forward to.

Quick question ladies, has anyone ever had a placenta bleed? I had one a couple of weeks ago but was told initially it was erosion of my cervix. Only found out on weds it was actually due to part of my placenta coming away it's still up high on my front wall so I'm now feeling a bit confused about what can happen. Have had steroid injections this week to try and mature my little girls lungs quicker due to her condition xxx

Hi Pika, my friend had quite a heavy bleed at 16 weeks and was told it was coming from the placenta, she never had any other incidents and went full term. Try to keep positive, thinking of you and your little girl xxx
