My Max is 4 weeks old today, I can't believe it! Here's a few pics of my little dude!
One of the pics is of his grandad who flew over for a surprise visit. And a surprise it was as my husbands dad decided to stop speaking to us three years ago!

Well I hope so, he's been such a let down over the years, expects so much of my husband with little effort himself, then he gets himself in a strop because we don't bow down and ignores us. Fingers crossed this time his promises come in to fruition. If they don't (again), then he's lost out on his fantastic son and two grandsons and he'd be mad to do that, he really would. xxx

Yes, would be his loss. Maybe he's mellowed with age and finally realises what his missing. Fingers crossed he'll be the dad and grandad your boys deserve x

It's been a while since I posted. We had our 20 week scan last Wednesday and our baby girl is healthy. Unfortunately I've been battling depression again, just focusing on getting well enough again.
Aw love it! Any names for your baby girl yet?
Sorry to hear about your depression. Make sure you look after you lovely lady, pregnancy hormones can really imbalance our poor brains. I don't have depression, but an anxiety disorder, it's tough work anyway dealing with and experiencing a growing baby in our bellies without dealing with mental health issues. Keep going lovely, you can do it. xx

We are currently going with Millie Rose, though that could change. Though the more I say it and write it, it seems perfect.
I've been signed off my full time job for a few weeks to help me re-evaluate my situation. I've also had enough strength to go through all the clutter I've hoarded over the last year. So far Millie has 3 books, 3 teddies and some hot pink fairy lights to go in her room. It's amazing what we keep! Time too myself has been an absolute blessing! X
Just thought I would update that I now have 3 days till my due date!! Can't come quick enough - got appointment on tues for a membrane sweep but was hoping baby might make an appearance before then although it's not looking likely.
Hopefully next post will be a picture of my son!!!

Thanks Lydia. Yeah I didn't expect it would be nice but glad they have me booked in for it incase it helps get things going. Very excited although I might not be saying that when the time comes!!! xxx

Know how that feels, I am 23 weeks and been fed up for weeks already :lol:
Totally not one of these women who really loved the whole pregnancy thing (I love the idea of the baby at the end though!). I spend the first 3 months puking up, the next 3 I feel irritated that I am finding it hard to move and the last 3 tired :lol: On top of this I hate how bad my hayfever gets without medication
Still.... only 4 months to go! or 3 in your case

Haha i hate being pregnant too! First pregnancy was great i sailed through, this time ive been horrendously ill, sick, tired, bloated, hormonal and everything else that comes with being pregnant!!!!!!!! Haha x
Well no joy with the sweep today. Consultant examined me and said that cervix is still high so no sweep possible. I have now been booked in for an induction next Monday night with the hope I have the baby on tues.
Fingers crossed things progress naturally before then!!!! Xx
