My boss has talked me into being a model for a competition he's doing. But my skin is breaking out. I tried using unrefined virgin coconut oil and light makeup because my google searches lead me to that but it's not helping too much. The pimples them self are only tiny and mainly below my mouth. Light makeup covers their redness but there are still shadows and I'd rather have a clear face and less work for the photographer/makeup artist. I'm all about natural beauty and hope to promote that. There are about 2 weeks to the shoot. Do you guys have any natural advice as I'm limited for products (I get a lot of allergies and prefer to avoid too many chemicals or anything with animal products/testing).

I have pretty normal skin. The space under my mouth is a little oily and same as my nose. The rest of my skin is pretty even. I drink a lot of water. I'm making sure I eat avocado and as much clean food as I can but I have snuck in some Cobs popcorn here and there. I can be a little lazy with my skin as I have been told my make up is safe to sleep with (its a mineral salon brand that I found at a salon convention). I tend to wash my face with water mainly (I use face oils to remove makeup do to getting a lot of reactions to makeup removers). Does it seem like I'm doing the right things here or would you suggest something else.

I am just a Mum and when my daughter was plagued with acne I bought Optima Tea Tree oil and Tea Tree cream and if I remember correctly they were from Holland & Barrett. Every evening before bed she cleaned her face as normal with cleanser & toner and then she used a clean cottonwool bud and dabbed a tiny amount of Tea Tree oil on each spot, making sure to use a clean bud for each application. In the morning after cleansing & toning she applied the Tea Tree cream to each spot, again making sure she used a clean cottonwool bud for each application. She then applied her foundation & make up. She made sure she used minimum makeup, just foundation, blush, mascara and no powder. Seemed to work for her, hope it helps you.

I know this post is a while back, but I you are still having the same problems now, I would suggest looking into Albolene. It's a make remover cream that is a moisturizer cleanser. I use it as my only nightly routine for my skin. My skin is very sensitive and I am very very lazy. I don't have time to apply 6 products to my face because my skin is sensitive. That's why Albolene is so perfect LOL. It a moisturizer that gets rid of acme, has no ingredients of soap, doesn't need water to wash it off, is free of fragrance, I could go on and on and on. Try this product out. You can buy it online and get it shipped to your house. It really works. I hope you found something that works for your skin.
