Split nail

My dad has a split down the centre of his thumb nail and has asked if I can help as it keeps catching on things - I just wondered if any of you had any suggestions x

My husband has this. I cut it very short, buff it down and do Gelish...I use the foundation and the matte top it off so you would never know he has anything on it, but it stops it catching and splitting as badly as it does without anything

Or a thin layer of acrylic

Fingernail fixer has a good u tube on mending a split nail, Take a look it's great and works really well x
