Steiner: nail tech

hello!

I was just wondering if anyone on here has worked for steiner on a cruise ship as a nail technician? I am seriously thinking about doing it but would like a little more info as i cant seem to find many posts online about nail techs.

I would like to know your experience was it worth it? did you enjoy it?
what was the interview like, is it a french polish on top of acrylic or french created with white and pink acrylic powders? How was the training? and also what was the pay/money like (i know it is a personal queston, but a little insight as to the percentage of commission you receive per treatment and products would be a great help)

I personally haven't done it but my manicurist tutor has. I remember her telling me about it. She said it's great experience. The pay was mainly tips though but you get everything like food, board, etc for free.

I don't know about the trade test I'm afraid but just practise both and you're covered. I imagine it will be a polish but that's a guess.
