I have a cheap led lamp that clamps to my table .. articulated ... but i can place it high over the table.... i haven't had any problems..... i think it will be ok.... provided you have it high above your table.... but then i guess that would make using a mag lamp pointless... i wouldnt use it for close work.... or you may have problems x

Thanks il take a look. I need something to double up for when I do brows and lashes that's why I thought the magnifier would be good.

Yes I use this mag lamp and have no curing issues. It is a cold light so you don't get hot under it. Magnifying lens is useful if you ever do very detailed work.

I also do IBX . In the attached photos you can see that I clip my IBX light to the mag light and store it under the table when not in use.

Interesting, so when you don't need the magnifier is the light were strong from above?

Why do you need an extra light for Ibx?

The mag lamp has a ring bulb which gives a good bright light over the work area. Mine has a plastic 'lid' which ensures all the light shines down wards .
If you want to use the magnifying lens then you lift the lid and pull the light into position to look through it.
It is the same light you would use for electrolysis or skin analysis.

When you do IBX you warm the product on the nails before curing in the LED light.
