In a precautionary move, tanning brand St. Tropez have recalled their newly launched Instant Tan Wash Off Face and Body Spray following reports that a small amount of customers have experience breathing problems following usage.

The product, promoted by Kate Moss and launched only seven weeks ago, has been removed from shelves while the brand investigates the issues.

"As a precautionary measure we have decided to initiate a voluntary recall of the product," says a statement posted on the brand's website. "We have asked our retailers to implement this with immediate effect whilst we carry out a full review."

They go on to reassure customers, "When concerns are raised about any of our products, we adopt a responsible and proactive approach. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our customers and offer our reassurances that these actions are taken as a precaution while we fully investigate this situation."

PZ Cussons, the company that owns St. Tropez, have offered all customers a full refund on return of the product but stress that it only applies to the spray and not to the St. Tropez Instant Tan Wash off Face and Body Lotion.

Until then...geek on!
