hi all!! I am in need of professional advise. I'm 41 I've completed my uv gel, manicure, spray tan and individual lash courses. I have a few clients I have done manicures and shellac on and they have been very pleased. I'm still working part time in a supermarket as well, but I've got the opportunity to rent a chair one day a week at a very good rate, in a lovely local salon, BUT no clients as yet, I thought of setting a date I would start then advertise like made through social media to get booked up, and just start with doing and perfecting shellac and manicures and pedicures. Also looked into going to a college in September to complete level 2 beauty and nail course.
Please could you professionals help me by advising if renting a chair is a good idea or shall I wait.

It would be good if you could do your full level 2 before committing to regular rent payments as once qualified you will be able to 'launch' yourself with a much wider range of treatments. Also, your college timetable might clash with the salon times you have committed to.
Keep doing clients in the mean time though and build up gradually.
Good luck!
