Hi everyone,

My head feels as though it's about to explode with all the ideas I have been going through tonight. I only specialise in waxing, head to toe, every single hair removed from the body. Waxing will always be my passion and so I thought what other treatments could I offer to complete the waxing experience? I want my clients to know that waxing isn't just a one of service but something that they should do every month to get the absolute best results.

And so from this I thought how can I incorporate other treatments with waxing so that my clients feel as though they are genuinely getting the best service I could offer. I thought of waxing as my central point and then adding a facial, body massage and exfoliation as a pre treatment and then tanning as a post treatment. Obviously you couldn't do this all in one day but it all comes down to completing a full body service.

I love facials and massage but hate all the faff that comes with it, all the different lotions, masks, toners.... I just want something basic, makeup & dirt removal and a very good intense massage for the face and body, including exfoliation so that this preps the skin for waxing and then tanning 48hrs later. I bet this already happens but just had to ask so that you could all give me your options x

Anyone? Just a little bit of advice please :green:

Hi rhi,

this is just my opinion:

I don't think you need to add anything to make a better waxing experience, unless you want to add them to your services anyway.

As for the facial I don't see much point in just a make up and " dirt removal" I think you should invest in a great facial range and offer great facials or don't offer them at all.

Full body exfo and massages I think are great treatments but again if you want to be a wax specialist I don't think it's needed.

Maybe make a good pre and post wax advice sheet to email clients or flyers with info about exfoliating etc. and if you get many questions then maybe add it to your services.

Maybe find out what clients want and expand from there. Don't just add treatments you don't really like doing just because you wanna offer a waxing package, I don't think it's needed.

As I said this is just me personally and my opinion.

Hope it's helped xx

Ps educate and be great at what you do and you will be giving the best service you can offer xx

Thanks Daisy, dirt removal wasn't the best choice of words was it! Couldn't imagine many clients booking in for that.... You do make a good point and it seems a shame to offer a treatment that my heart really isn't into. Pre and post care advice is big for me and the number of clients who have never had this before is crazy! But you are right, as long as I educate my clients on home care then that will further the benefits of their waxing.

Thanks for your reply x

Defo!! I think it's little things like that that will make your clients feel your going the extra bit for their service. Could even retail an exfo etc. Good luck I'm sure whatever you do will be great. 😁
