Well I had a little go last night and did 4 nails on my hand trainer [natural french overlays] and my own thumb [tip and french overlay]. I have never ever used gel before and ok... so they're not competition winners but I'll tell you something...... they aint bad either!!!!!
The end look is really super - the white is very white [it's the white nail paint I used - not the white gel] and the shine is fantastic!! The only thing I think that I need to work on is the shape..... I haven't really got an apex and it looks a little flat.
Still - I'm thrilled and am looking forward to doing a conversion course. Anyone know if the cost and dates etc have been sorted yet?
