Highly unlikely, if not impossible. Genital herpes is an extremely fragile virus that is transmitted through skin-to-skin contact. Neither can it be caught by sharing linen or toilet seats in the salon environment.

I was just going to say this same thing. This also goes for HIV and Hepatitis...just to name a few that people seem to worry about.

can the phd systems be used for hollywood waxing how do you remove the hair from the lip area without scratching it with the plastic end,

I've got the phd system and really like it. I only do the basic bikini line, so I don't konw about using is for hollywood waxing. When you do small areas on the face you don't use the applicator (although they have just brought out a new smaller one) you just squeeze a small amount onto a spatular (new one each time). I get on fine with it.
