Hi everyone,
I just have a question for you all. My situation is complicated right now.I used to work from home but then I got divorce, but my ex was working from home too so I decided to get out to find a job and I went to work for 3 years as a manageress (full hands on),in a salon that at that moment was for sale, it was loosing money, and I wanted to buy it but I couldn't . I knew it had lots of potential, and I managed to turn it around, and became a very high successful salon, very busy. Last year after a court hearing of 3 days ( due to a complicated divorce), I needed some time off and I couldn't get it so... I resigned! Obviously I left and I couldn't say good bye to any of the clients, but I have few personal friends around and I am considering the idea of going back to the area. I just was made redundant from my last job and I cannot work from home again because my ex is still at home and it will be very difficult (also my house is on the market but...it is hard as you all know with the house market right now.)I can not see a way out really, and I really need my income to pay bills, my daughter is at uni etc . Today I went to have a look and I just found a room to rent in the same road to the salon that I used to work but I have mix feelings about it. I don't know what to do!!! Please, any advice:rolleyes: Thanks

I think you should jump at the chance hun! after all you put alot of hard work in when you turned the place around and obviously were very good. Would they not give you any time off? is that why you had to resign. I think if you didnt give it a go you would always wonder what if. And besides you deserve a bit of happiness this could be things turning around for the better for you, I hope so good luck whatever you decide. Do let us know and keep in touch.:hug:

I also think you should jump at the chance. I know is sounds a bit mean but being in the same area would be good for you - bad for them, as people will know you very well and will automatically trust you. Its all fair in love & war as they say.

Make your pricing really competitive, add in your own style and Im sure that things will take off in a big way. Better to start off small and work up to a large salon than going in at the deep end and worry how to make ends meet.

Good luck and keep your chin up.
