i have heard of them pen. To be honest after I have done my normal removal etc my skin does feel comfortable - I just use a night cream as I thought you should really. I might try skipping it for a few days and just doing the clinique 3 step on its own

Have a go and then tell me how you get on, see if you notice a difference x

hello there,

I am a huge Clarins fan but now I have started using Liz Earle products, ecxellent products and the cost won't break the bank, I use the day and night creams aswell as the cleansing hot polish amongst other things
www.lizearle.co.uk,

another favorite is nealsyardremedies.com, their white tea eye gel is a must for me!!!

If you can spend a bit more then www.ren.ltd.uk for REN products, they are fantastic!

I'm using the new Loreal wrinkle de crease boswelox cream, the night cream, the serum and the line filler. I've been using it for 2 weeks and I can defo see a bit of difference.

well I will bear that in mind as thats not mega expensive is it?

They're only about £11 each

great! I spend a fortune on my 3 step so trying to cut down a little now, as wont be able to afford these luxuries when I get moved into my house

I am using Loreal ReNoviste Anti-Ageing Glycolic peel kit my daughter bought me it I have been using it for 2 weeks now and I can see that my face is so much brighter looking.

I have even had 2 people say that my skin looks good.

Ok it will not get rid of my fine lines around my eyes I know this but I do think it is doing some good.

I have always looked after my face when I was younger I would put a cream not a exspensive on e but a light cream and for years I have used a suncream block under my make up like just like a moisteriser.

Caz xxx:)

I have quite sensitive skin so not sure if I dare try peels and things but they do look good.

I use Body Shop cleanser, toner and moisuriser and then either day cream or night cream and it is fab!

Would never use anything else!

What a good girl you are Caz - my skin has been tortured by years of sun damage and smoking - it's only NOW at the grand old age of 39 it's become really visible and I look and feel like I've aged 10 years in the last 2!

hi Helen,
I've found nothing better than The Body Shops Vitamin E range. Its for all Skin Types,(including sensitive) I used to use Clinique but actually moved over to this range by The Body Shop (as i didn't get on with clinique, expensive isn't always better with skin care.) They do a day moituriser which i use in the morning after i've cleansed and toned then use their Vitamin E nourishing Night Cream before bed. I also would recommend their eye cream aswell. Also just got back from the shops and its 3 for 2 at the mo. Night cream is about £7.00.

if you order with me beofre the end of jan you get 25% off everything you order!

Thank you Suzie  ,

I have not always been good I am a X smoker but as far as sun damage I should be ok as I used to get brown pigment marks on my face with the Sun think the pill had something to do with this so I have always used the sun screen under my make-up to stop this so in one way now I am 44 years young!!!! I do think it has been good as I do not think my skin is that bad for my age.

Mind you I would love a good Acid peel from a plastic surgon that sounds good.

All these TV shows that are on now makes you look at yourself so much more do you not think?

When you get to 44 years you will think 39 years was quite young not old at all LOL!!!!

Hi Helen,

I use Decleor cleanser and toner and vitaroma day cream with the essential ils, and then i use elemis marine cream or sos cream at night, but boost it twice a week with Decleor Prolagene gel.

My skin has improved soo much using it all. Yes agreed that it is a lot of money, but it lasts ages and you can see reults within a week. I guess its the same as usuing the best in nail care against the worst ragne you could find.

I also have Alpha AHA which has a glycolic peel within it, for when i have been in the sun and i can see a few wrinkles forming, it treats them great.

I have heard good things about the vitamin e range fom body shop though.

But i think you need to find 2 different ranges that you like as your skin can get used to the same make and it then doesnt have the same results as before, so you give it a break from the norm and give it a boost with something else.

Sometimes i also give my skin a face mask of collagen gel by SBC........wicked......lol:D Most vital ingredient.......water

Here's to us all fighting our wrinkles and keeping them at bay..............xx

I've been using Clinique's products and personally dont rate them very high. It stripped my skin and made it very sensitive.

Night creams are to keep moisture in and are fairly thick in comparison to day creams. This is to make the skin soft and supple on the face.

There are so many to choose from that I've given up on the high street shops and I am using Nimue skincare range at the moment which I ordered from Sassy Hassy, one of the lovely and famous Geek on here. Really happy with the result so far.

i use lemis as my facial routine but i do swear by neoroli(s.p) essentail oil during the day and the balm at night....oh and that eye lotion that you put on and it takes the wrinkles away for 8 hours.....yes i now look 14:lol:

thank you all for telling me your beauty secrets. I take your points about clinique as I know not everyones skin suits it, just like any other brand I guess, but I find that using the mild soap, and the gel moisturiser keeps my skin in its best condition, and I think it will take a miracle cream to sway me away from clinique Im afraid girls lol. But their night creams dont suit me. Anyway Im trying letting myskin breathe for a couple of days and then I think I will try some of the products suggested as even if I decide not to wear it every night, a night cream is still good for your skin.

when you have applied the night cream how does your skin feel first thing in the morning when you wake? does it feel oily? Is there any puffiness?

any of these signs could indicate that the cream is to heavy for your skin type. Just because it is a nght cream doesn't mean that it has to be greasy or heavy.

From that quote they don't actually give any reason as to why you shou;dn't use a night cream. Only to neutralise your cleansing routine which if this is the case then yu are using the wrong types of products for your skin during cleansing it has nothing to do with the night cream.

I would advice anyone over the age of 25/30 to use a night cream. The more stressed to skin is during the day the more rejuvenation is will need at night and a suitable night cream can help.

my skin doesnt feel puffy when I wake up. It does feel a bit oily but it would even if I dont apply night cream as I have oily skin anyway
