I'm the owner and beauty therapist in my own boutique salon. I'm one year in and have established a good client base which although there are quiet times, always return. The salon itself is lovely and I'm pretty happy with it all. My issue is the hairdressing!!! I have had three hairdressers since opening, all self employed (as I can't afford to employ anyone). I have had a lot of issues with unhappy clients over the year and now the hair side of the business is more or less dead. As I am the only person that truely cares about my business, I am seriously considering doing a part time hair course myself so in time o can offer this side of the service as well. Has anyone else out there had the same issues or successfully managed a career hairdressing as well as beauty therapy? Please help, I feel like I just don't know what to do.
Such a shame you're not closer to me as I'd snap up the chance to move my clients to a better enviornment I've been renting a chair for 3 years in a salon where they have poor customer service and lack of hygiene in the salon. Having had my own salon for 14 years I understand good customer service is paramount!! Luckily my clients know me well and understand the salon is not "my call"

Where is your salon I am looking for somewhere to rent for hair

Don't mean to be rude but none of your replies to any of the threads seem to make any sense!

If any of you know anything about the world powers and who is who you would instantly know the Gupa family is one of the richest most powerful families in the world.
If in fact this guy is actually a genuine Gupta. Because we can always make up our own names and titles on salon geek.

They are originally from India so the English is kind of broken but I understand what he is trying to say.

He is saying that as owner of your own business you put more effort in the beginning and therefore customer service is key to success. Grow up means nurture your business .

@nailpod of course. Which is why he is posting on a little Free UK based forum. Can't wait for Richard Branson to find us too.
Also suggested Aloe Vera for hair breakage, no scientific medical explanation expert advice or health questions. ... Nope! Just Aloe Vera.

Vikas Gupta works in practice in Punjab India full appointment list slots available on line for that practise . . ..no record of working in Ohio!

Google is your friend.
