Hey guys
I've just qualified in gel nail polish manicures and im wondering which product people feel is best to use for clients?
I'm considering CND Shellac, Gelish and Gelease.
Opinions please?

Thanks x

I personally like shellac and gelish, find gelish has a far wider range of colours :)

Hi,
I used to use shellac and gelicure but am now using gelish. It is way ahead of the other two in my opinion. It last a good 3 weeks on clients and colours are fab. Hope that helps :)

I'm not sure if you've chosen yet but I'd definitely say go for Gelease! My clients can't stop telling me how much nicer it looks and how long it lasts without chipping. Luuurve it. :) x

Hi I have tried many different brands of gel polish when setting up my business from home as I am newly qualified . And I can honestly say Gelish worked the best for me . I haven't tried shellac as I trained in gel polish application . I wasted a lot of money buying different brands and even went down the route of buying Bluesky because it was cheaper, specially setting up can be expensive . But I have learnt my lesson a big way . Gelish lasts 2 -3weeks and I haven't looked back . I would of saved a lot of money in the long run . I trained with Orly fx gel polish love the application and colours but I found that it lasted if clients had strong nail . Most of my clients who come to me have weak bendy nails so Orly fx wasn't working . So I brought Gelish and the lamp and my clients are getting 2-3 weeks now . Unfortunately I lost a couple of clients when using other brands but finger crossed they will come back to me now I've got Gelish .

I have always found personally that Gelish is the best. So many cols to choose from and it seems to last the best on clients nails. ☺️

Gelish for me too :) x

Personally love Madam Glam, the quality is amazing and they keep on bringing new colors. I also like the fact that they have the accurate color on top of their bottles, makes my life so much easier

I use shellac as its so easy to remove and is kind on nails. Iv not used gelish but I hear it does last longer and come in more colours but a bit harder to remove, which can cause damage if your not careful and patient. I believe shellac is more of a power polish so it's thin and a two week polish, where as gelish, gelicure and the rest are similar they last 3 weeks and are harder wearing. So it depends on what your clients needs are!? I would look into getting shellac in a couple of colours and trying it out and the other gel brand in a couple of colours but do some research into cost and how easy it is to get hold of, are there any suppliers near you that sell so you never run out and have to wait for delivery! I think a lot of people use gelish and I'm considering getting a couple of gelish colours to run along side my shellac so when the shellac doesn't last on a client I can try the gelish.
