Xmas beauty/shopping events

So I am booked into 2 Xmas beauty events- apparently there is another nail girl going:0/
I'm thinking of taking my gel2 stuff with me and lots of general pushes, iv had flyers made up specially with discounts on them and I'm considering doing mini gift bags with more flyers and a few samples in them- has any one done this ? I just wanted ideas as to what samples/goodies I should go with?
Also what promo stuff did you take?

I did one of these last year, unlike you, the organiser told me I was the only nail tech. So I trot along and low and behold there is a franchised salon not only advertising their treatments but offering nails too!! Needless to say I made a big fat zero as they were charging way less than me.

Lesson learned. So I would go well and truly armed, which it sounds like you're doing anyway. How much do you want to spend on goody bags? How about a nail file and mini cuticle oil? Personally I think (going on the event I attended) the flyers with a discount is fine. But if you wanted to offer more, include a treatment upgrade, such as manicure to deluxe manicure etc etc, specifically on the flyers in the goody bag.

Thank you- I think that's a good idea, I hadn't really thought about a budget yet I needed to shop around and see what I could get ect, I'll definately look at ding the treatment upgrade that sounds like a fab plan :0)
I know nothing about the other nail tech going or what she's offering - I have been emailing the organiser to find out ect as I like to be organised beyond organised lol
