Well the cupboards and display areas have been built, the room has been painted top to bottom, the floor goes down tomorrow, most of the lighting installed. My new room is nearly complete, once the blind goes in and the rest of the lighting I will be taking lots of photo's and will of course share them here.

It's been great seeing everyone's rooms. Thanks for sharing them guys.

can anybody help, just read through the whole off this thread and being mobile myself love the idea of turning my spare room into a little beauty room, but my first thing that i think off is the cost, ie does council tax go up, home insurance and anything else. i will look into it but was hoping you would be able to give me some sort of break down

Home Insurance is often the issue - most won't cover you if you have clients working from home. There are several very affordable and competitive policies available that do - H & L Balen have a very good policy (they are who I use).

Just to add - though you should really start this as a separate thread, or search for the many that cover this topic already.
