A year ago I posted on this thread pics of my treatment room that I rented above a cafe and florist, they closed at xmas meaning I had to find a new premises, a good friend of mine is a hair dresser and also needed to find a bigger premises so we went together and opened yesterday! The treatment rooms aren't quite finished (thanks to a leaking pipe!) but here's the main hair salon and nail bars and my favourite part, our little reception! Amazing what a little passion and imagination, and good family and friends can achieve in 7 days!!!!....

The mirrors were £60 in pound stretcher! And the desk we made using an ikea expedit cube shelves, and stuck a ikea cabinet to the top, wallpapered hardboard and had an acrylic sheet made to fit! It was a big job making that!! X

Hi nickij, I had my desk made, I couldn't find anything that was the correct size and the look I was looking for, it's great really heavy and solid built and has pretty crystal knobs on the till draw and cupboards behind it x
