How big are your nail/beauty rooms ladies? I've found a gorgeous small shop which is 150 sq. ft (13 sq. m) but I'm not really sure how big that is!

This is my room which is at my mum and dads house. It's nice and big. Me and my bf are moving soon though and will probably be getting a cabin for me to work from. Love working from home! It's so much more relaxed than when I was working in a salon. 💖

This is going to be my little spot so I'm looking for a bit of inspiration as well. The desk is a little higher than my portable one so I've had to buy bar stools, they are at their lowest adjustment and I've put little blocks under the desk to raise it 2". I thought maybe I could cut a few inches off but I could do some serious damage to the desk and destroy it so I thought I would try this first. If it doesn't work... I will have to cut it. If I have a client with a more "ample" bottom, I will need to change the chair to a wider, sturdier wooden pub style chair. I have 4 at home that will work. I'm looking at an antique armchair for now to do my pedicures. I have a footsie bath that will slide underneath it.
The fireplace has been raised up above the desk level now and I have a little shelf with wicker drawers to go against the wall.
I'm getting some glass cut to put on top to protect the wood surface.
The salon owner let me bring my table in early and I'm really looking forward to it. I have been part time and mobile up until now so this is quite new for me too! I will definitely keep you posted and will update when I move in.

The nail treatment room, spray tan room and waiting room in my new Colour Fix studio. Very proud of it and my hubby who did it!

This is stunning! Great job, I would be very impressed as a client :)

Loving this thread! What a bunch of entrepreneurial women we all are
