Just wondering anyone who has a home salon and that has a couch sitting out in the same room as your nail table & tanning area etc sorry if this sounds a bit of a silly question but if you are doing waxing (bikini wax) and you have a client booked in after I know you would make sure you have enough time but what if the client came early do you have a screen or curtain up so you can put/pull over so that its private and the client waiting can't see what you are doing? I have a home salon (spare room) but I keep the door closed and I have a waiting area outside the room but I am doing my garage up as it is bigger at the minute I have to keep taking my couch down to put my tanning tent up and take it down to put my couch up, this way I will be able to have everything in the same room. Any advice would be great thanks xx

I also don't have enough room for my couch and tan tent. But I just push my couch over to one side and put my pop up tent up, do the tan and clean it, put it down again and pull my couch Bach to the centre of the room again. That's the only way of doing it.

Though I am trying to get rid of the old stand up tanning sun bed in the next small room, so that I can use that for tanning instead. Proving difficult though as the person that owns it hasn't made any money from it, as it doesn't work, and he says it will cost a lot to move it again. That's not my problem though, I just want it out of our salon. The landlord had it installed before I started there.
