12.61 Wella tone washed out!

About a week ago I coloured my roots with 12.61 wella hi lift and 12% and when it developed I was really happy with the result although now all the tones washed out completely and got a warm tone too my roots! Has anyone else had this problem with wella before? I use urban antidote recovery shampoo and condition by tigi which is a colour save!

Tigi colour save is rubbish!! I've used all them years ago and washed my colour out.

The wella range isn't what it used to be, I used 12.1 for a bit of a change and so I don't need to bleach as light, really not impressed. The tone washed out way too quickly, I'm going to go back to bleach and tone, good old fashioned ways sometimes are te best xoxo

Would u say the shampoo is the problem? Ive used igora 12.1 before And same shampoo and conditioner and the tones never washed up before I just like the more violet tone which I can get using the wella 12.61 .. What do u recommend ditch the shamp and cond or try a different hi lift or even both? Thanks xx

I used to bleach and tone and thought id try a hi lift as i disnt need to bleach because im not that dark.. Anyway Do u recommend a nice violet toner? We stock schwarkopf and the goldwell colourance range at my salon where i work but it's not a problem to order any other range in from Aston and fincher xx

Depends, mine is around a 3 so it couldn't be lightened with high lift alone, but I thought that bleach to around an 8/9 and use high lift after would do, the tone completely washed out so I'm going back to bleach and toner alone, i use 9-2 as the toner. Really nice finish. But if you are light enough I think te high lift would suffice xoxo

Do u find the + actually lift 6 levels?

I haven't used a + on its own yet so not sure but I doubt it!! Maybe 5. And you can develop for 50mins apparently. They're veryuch like majiblond but with a bit more lift I find.
