beautiful really beautiful if she carries on like she has been she wont have to come back for Acrylics she'll be asking for manicures on her naturals they are lovely and look so wonderfully strong. long nail beds too were they in this condition in April?? cant see why she would want acrylics if they were lol. love the glitter polish it's a very lush colour Bev well Done This is how to do it right!!!! :)

Hi Donna, when she came to me in April, they were short and bitten. She said she'd always been a nibbler and her nails would never grow. Well, they do grow now!
Once someone has stopped biting, the nail bed does re-attach itself to the nail plate eventually, where is should be if she'd not bitten them
Don't get me wrong - she hadn't bitten them to the cuticle - but just nibbled a bit and they would snap off.
She'd never had 'nails' done before and came to me from recommendation. She say's she be back for manicures until she can have her acrylics on again. She also said she never knew polish could look so fab! But, the polish is a gorgeous one!

It's China Glaze...'Don't be a square' from the holographic range.

Am I missing something Bev? I can't see any picture with the polish and nail art on. Just the natural nail.

If you look at the bottom of my critique post there should be 3 pics, not just the pic that's in the box at the side..click on each one and it will bring up a bigger pic.

Thought it was me but I've just double checked and there are no links at the bottom of the critique post (they are usually beneath the text aren't they) .. not for me anyway :(

Great stuff Bev!

What an achievement, this is my goal to get a nail biter to have a set of nails like this, but all the nail biters I get seem to give up too quick..one day I ll get there maybe, have you not got a before photo?

These nails are FAB! I wish my natural nails looked like this. I'm going to print one of these pics (is that OK?) to show my clients who are hesitant to get acrylic nails because of the 'damage' they cause. GREAT JOB! :)

Her nails were not badly bitten right down like some persistant biters when she came, just no free edge as she nibbled.
I did not take a before pic, wish I had now.

I've got a lady coming in on saturday with horrendously bitten nails, I'll do a before and after on these. But the saturday lady had barely any nail plates, so it will be a job and a half!

They are amazing.. She's probably going to really look after them as they are so long and slender. They look great. I have a friend who bit her nails and now has a nno but she doesn't want to have the acrylic taken off incase she breaks one of them. It's a good feeling isn't it :)

I'm gutted I can't see the links to the other pictures though, really wanted to have a look at the china glaze polishes. I'm sure her finished nails were stunning.

You must feel a great sense of achievement after those results Bev, they look lovely. What a great advertisement for all the nail enhancement doubters out there.

Well done you and well done to your client for being a good girl.:green: Shame they're not all like that!

Thank you Sals,

You can say that again! I do have to odd one who trashes her nails time after time, thinking...oh well - I'm at bev's tomorrow!:irked:
