Hi Geeks!

Was browsing through Adels website and came across the spectrum highlight kit.

Thought it was a brill product and saw you could buy the items separately. Can you add the pigments to any bleach to tone at the same time?? So that you could do on the scalp??

On the spectrum lightning powder it says off the scalp. But then I clicked on the Spectrum lightning powder to buy separately and across the tub it said new on scalp formula!! Has anyone used the new on scalp lightning powder? and can you add the pigments to it??

Many thanks :D

use it like water haha
i very rarely use bleach to highlight unless the client wants very bright, back to back bleach blonde.
you can't use the pigments with any other bleach, and you can't use the spectrum powder without the pigments...well i suppose you could but i can't imagine there'd be much point lol
i haven't actually ever used it on the scalp as i use Affinage ice creme ammonia free bleach and it gives me great results so never needed to try it but i'd imagine, if it gives the same results as it does in highlights, it would be amazing, just slightly more costly.

oh and most people end up asking if you can use the pigments as crazy colours...you can't lol
ive heard you can use the pigments on their own on the ends when bleaching the roots, but i've never tried it personally, they aren't cheap, and i'd be worried that they would be too strong on porous hair but i might find a guinea pig and give it a go aha.

I've ordered some and gonna try it out :D

I have training with this next week can't wait

Can anyone tell me where to buy affinage? Thanks

So my order came today! Ordered a tub of the powder 3 pigments and developer.

You can use it on he scalp but not with 30vol. Also only for 12 mins! If the result isn't achieved then reapply :)

Just need some guinepigs now lol

My colour tech said that you should just treat it like bleach, so when it's lifted, taken it off because there's no way you can do a full head of fouls and whilst leaving it on for half an hour.
I'm not sure if the same applies for the scalp really cuz I can't imagine it lifting after 12 min lol which pigments did you get?
If you need any technical help ring the affinage technical helpline, they're brilliant.

Natural, so a nice soft creamy blonde, similar to majiblonde 900s but lighter lol x

Can it be used on the scalp?

Brilliant thanks

I'm still looking for guinea pigs to try on the scalp :)
