Hi there - I have loads of clients that are manual workers and their hands get Ian complete state due to water and the elements.

I've seen a fantastic result to clients using my candle wax as a treatment moisturiser - would highly recommend using a plant oil/wax based product, especially overnight, as you'll find it nourishes really deeply.

Hope this helps,

Rich

Thanks for all your advice! Definitely have some decisions to make now! Hehe! Time to shop!

Paraffin wax treatment is amazing for sore dry rough skin.

Also I love the results of Jessica's La Remedi serum .. truly awesome.

I haven't stocked Jessica products for years now but this serum and their hand cream are stand-out products which I still use and sell.

Just realised that looks wrong. I meant sting-y, as in that stings - that's a bit nippy.

lol think stingy is a glasgow word too, yea i ment it stings

The dry winter air has made my hands dry, itchy, and not very pretty. To soothe my skin and get soft hands, I like to use pure jojoba oil. The plant-based oil not only moisturizes my skin on contact but also doesn't leave my skin feeling oily for hours. Plus, jojoba oil is a renewable resource, unlike baby oil or mineral oil made from petroleum. Though this botanical liquid extract is commonly referred to as “oil,” jojoba oil is technically a liquid wax ester that is very similar to the properties of human skin oil (sebum).
To get soft hands, I apply the oil directly to the back of my hands.
Then, I use my fingers to rub the oil into my skin. I concentrate on the tops of my hands and my knuckles.
After rubbing the oil on the tops of both hands, my fingers usually are covered in the oil, so I rub my palms together to distribute it. If I have time, I like to massage the oil into each finger, paying extra attention to my fingernails. Jojoba oil softens calluses, moisturizes cuticles, and hydrates nails

Corn huskers lotion during the day. Mary Kay emollient cream at night.
WHEN I remember. lol
Corn huskers goes on oily, and is very easy to massage with, but when you stop massaging, it soaks in fast and isn't sticky.

dermititis is due to the amount of water on ur hands therefore u need something to dry that out not moisturise them sudocreme does this as it is made for nappy rash sounds so simple but took me years to figure that out beauty of it is that it also acts as a barrier cream when its on, so for a week alternate betwwen hydrocortozone cream (sorry bout the spelling) and sudocreme and itl clear right up, happy days. prevention is better than cure so sooner rather than later :D
